2022 Ford Bronco

100% Bronco

The Ford Bronco™ family has been tested under extremely grueling conditions to ensure it was tough and capable enough to wear the iconic Bronco nameplate. That's why we can proudly say the legend has returned - and it's ready for fun. The Bronco Family is vast, with a reach as far as you're willing to take it and a legacy that spans generations. And the tree keeps getting bigger. At its core, an unbridled spirit takes root, raring to take you outdoors, off-road, and to places you've never gone before.

Built Wild™ For Unbridled Off-Roading

The 2022 Ford Bronco™ SUV is loaded with class-leading* off-road features and brings durability and capability to the great outdoors. Bronco hits the trails with unique off-road geometry that gets you over and through whatever nature throws in your way. There's also the standard High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) System, hero switches to help you control your off-roading adventures, and available front stabilizer bar disconnect for improved articulation over larger obstacles. And for optimal crawling capability, Bronco has available front and rear locking differentials.

*Class is Medium Traditional Utility.

  • G.O.A.T. Modes™ (Goes Over Any type of Terrain)

G.O.A.T. was the original internal code name for the '66 Bronco project at Ford. The new Bronco lives up to this original idea as the archetype of an agile, sports-oriented offroad 4x4 - with all the capability and durability it takes to endure Bronco Built Wild™ Extreme Testing measures.

Always consult the Owner's Manual before off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty, and use appropriate safety gear.

    Legendary Performance

Torture tested at the home of King of the Hammers in the Johnson Valley desert and the grueling Baja 1000, one of the world's toughest off-road endurance races, the Bronco family is ready to help you confidently take on any terrain.

    Untamed Spirit

Easily taking off the roof panels and doors on the 2- and 4-door models lets you experience the wind in your hair and the sun on your face. The Bronco was Built Wild™ for an open sky view to bring back the feeling of unlimited freedom on every journey.

    Classic Design

The new Bronco ranks among the most capable and rugged 4X4 families in the industry. Highlighting the original's timeless and functional design-signature round headlamps, horizontal cartridge grille and short overhangs with vertical and clean flat body sides, the new Bronco is built for thrills and adventure.

Electronic Shift On The Fly (ESOF)

2-speed transfer case is the base, "Part-time" system that offers the driver three modes to fit your driving condition - plus Neutral. The three selectable modes increase wheel torque to handle conditions like deep sand, steep grades or heavy pulling. Standard on Base, Big Bend™, Black Diamond™, and Outer Banks™.

    All-New Slide Out Tailgate

New for 2022, the available slide out tailgate adds more versatility to 4-door Ford Bronco models (excluding Badlands and Raptor) with its ability to function as a table, work surface or step to access rooftop cargo. Once you're done, it conveniently stows under the load floor, so you don't have to remove any gear. *

    Available Summer 2022.
*Prevents on-vehicle door storage. Applies to 4-door models only.

    2-Door Cargo Capacity

From sleeping bags to coolers and generators, you need your gear when exploring the great outdoors. The 2022 Ford Bronco has plenty of available space to stow it. Bronco 2-door offers up to 22.4 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the back seat or a maximum 52.3 cu. ft. with the rear seats down.
